In recent times, SkyRidge and our civil construction partners Shadforth have been making enormous inroads in boosting the number of women taking up careers in civil works, and it’s not just behind the scenes. It’s now common on the SkyRidge site to see female drivers in bright pink hi-viz sitting behind the wheels of rollers, loaders and trucks manoeuvring their machinery and loads with precision. At peak times, our civil works team has been around 20% women – not only creating greater diversity in our workforce, but also inspiring future generations to see civil construction as a viable, rewarding and welcoming industry for all.

But don’t just take our word for it. Channel 9 News and industry media have also taken notice.
