A major milestone for one of Perron Group’s most ambitious and prestigious land developments with construction commencing on Queensland’s Gold Coast of SkyRidge.

Formally known as Pacific View Estate, the project is a joint venture between Perron Group and Gold Coast investor, Ross Atkins who secured rights to develop the 342-hectare site in 2006.
Situated on a rise overlooking the spectacular Surfers Paradise skyline, the development in Worongary features sweeping ocean views in what is the last significant real estate project on the central Gold Coast.
Over a projected 15-year period, the $1.5 billion project will deliver as many as 3,500 dwellings, a high-quality village shopping and convenience retail centre as well as a school, childcare and community facilities.
The development management of the estate is being undertaken by local Gold Coast-based firm CRA Group.
Perron Group General Manager – Land Development, Lyle Kenny, said SkyRidge was a major boost for the Gold Coast and would deliver thousands of jobs in the lifetime of the project, providing a significant boost to the local economy.
“We are thrilled that this eagerly anticipated project is finally breaking ground and expect it to be one of the last true master-planned communities on the central Gold Coast,” he said.
“There is presently a short supply of suitably zoned land within the city to develop a community of this size and scope.
“It is a major vote of confidence in the Gold Coast market in these uncertain times.
“We expect a groundswell of buyer enquiry and the SkyRidge website is now taking registrations of interest for those looking at purchasing.”
The first land sales will take place mid-2021, with the opening of the Sales and Experience Centre.
