Fitness & Outdoors

SkyRidge offers a variety of walking, jogging and bike trails along the Ecological Corridor. Each route is different featuring some with scenic views, fitness stations and other recreational opportunities*

 

Settlers Walk

Length: 800m
Difficulty Level: Easy

This trail is a concrete pavement for easy walking and pushing a stroll or young kids riding a bike. The path is adjacent to the future town centre and provides great views of the wetlands.

Gully Trail

Length: 1.85km
Difficulty Level: Moderate

This amazing trail is for nature lovers and takes you through the deep forest of the Ecological Corridor to magnificent formal parkland junctures at either end. The elevation ebbs and flows like the creek and this trail will take you 75m up from its lowest to highest point. Take a hike or take the mountain bike.

Rock Pools Trail

Length: 2.15km
Difficulty Level: Intermediate

This inspiring trail takes you from the gully and rising up 50m to the hilltop, with a combination of beautiful Creekside forest vegetation and birdlife, right up to the Major Park with its outlook that stretches wide across the Gold Coast. A special feature on this trail is the Stair Climb Challenge. Hike it or bring your mountain bike.

Canopy Walk

Length: 1.85km
Difficulty Level: Intermediate

This relatively easy walk follows the scenic SkyRidge creek with gentle rise and falls to stretch your legs. Ideal for a walk or jog, you can enjoy this trail on its own or link up with Trail Five to lengthen your exercise time. This trail also makes for an easy bike riding trail for the whole family.

Adventurers Trek

Length: 1.8km
Difficulty Level: Hard

Who’s up for this challenge? There’s no need to venture to the wilderness, this incredible trail is right here in your neighbourhood at SkyRidge. Venture along steep tracks and take in 360-degree views to the coast and back across the Hinterland. Soaring 120m from its low to highest point, this challenging hike will test your appetite for adventure.
